The aim of this qualification is to provide learners with the knowledge and skills required to design and deliver safe and effective training sessions to groups of participants in outdoor environments.

Learners will cover:

  • The considerations involved in working with groups in outdoor environments
  • Planning arrange of exercises relevant to groups of participants outdoors, using body weight, environment and small equipment
  • Planning appropriate exercise sessions, taking into account the opportunities and limitations presented by the environment
  • Instructing safe and effective group exercise sessions in outdoors environments

Target Candidates

This course is suited to those who wish to progress their career in the Health & Fitness Industry.

For those who hold other Health & Fitness qualifications who wish to develop their own knowledge and be able to offer additional services to their clients.

For candidates who wish to give themselves an extra edge to gaining clients and ensuring that clients can achieve their goals, whether they be recreational trainers or competitive level.

Prerequisites

Candidates must be in possession of a Level 2 Certificate in Fitness Instructing � Gym-Based Exercise, or equivalent.
